Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned architectural solutions specialist to advise on door openings design and specifications. You will use Openings Studio BIM to specify doors, hardware and access control, while building strategic relationships with design teams and specifiers.

You will deliver educational programs on new products and solutions, promoting Openings Studio BIM adoption and presenting project proposals to influencers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in architecture, design, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years’ industry experience in architectural representation or design-build construction management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with CRM tools for sales reporting.
• Working knowledge of relevant industry software is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong communicator, active listener and negotiator.

• • Work closely with architectural professionals advising on the design and specification of door openings
• • Use Openings Studio, an award-winning BIM software, to specify 3D doors, hardware and access control
• • Drive positive, sustaining relationships with key influencers and create brand demand through educating and promoting ASSA ABLOY solutions
• • Build and maintain strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers
• • Deliver educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and professional services
• • Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals

Requirements

• College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar)
• Minimum high school/GED diploma
• At least 3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
• Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
