Jobtailor in Wisconsin seeks a results-driven Sales Representative to manage accounts, drive growth, and deliver compelling product presentations across on-premise and off-premise channels.

You will monitor stock levels, train staff on priority brands, handle credits and payments, and collaborate with the Field Sales Manager to open new accounts while upholding compliance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Basic PC skills with MS Office and presentation software.
  • Results-oriented with strong verbal/written communication using diplomacy.

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.

  • Ability to carry and lift 45-65 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Call on accounts and cover daily routes by creating an established routing pattern.
  • Analyze the entire account base by visiting each account and identifying opportunities.
  • Complete necessary surveys and ensure national account compliance where applicable.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations covering new products, placements and resets, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
  • Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permissible.
  • Educate account staff on priority brands through training seminars.
  • Manage customer account receivables by processing credits and returns and communicating about aged receivables.
  • Service accounts by delivering products in extenuating circumstances and handling customer issues and complaints.
  • Achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
  • Strategize and preplan to achieve objectives using pricing, product programming and account purchase information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and out-of-stock situations and alert management to demand fluctuations.
  • Achieve distribution, volume and activity goals for supplier brands.
  • Maintain account standards and maximize brand visibility using point-of-sale materials.
  • Collect and deliver payments where legally permissible.
  • Support account openings by developing opening orders with the Field Sales Manager.
  • Participate in supplier work-with sales calls and sales blitzes.
  • Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public while handling beverage alcohol products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
