Job summary

J Polep Distribution Services, a division of National Convenience Distributors, seeks an Outside Sales Representative for the South Eastern MA region. You will drive sales, nurture existing customers, and develop new business while coordinating with staff to deliver exceptional service.

Required are at least 1 year of sales-focused experience, strong communication, and the ability to build lasting relationships. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales-driven, customer-focused experience in a retail merchandising environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Close and grow sales by developing existing clients and cultivating new leads.
• Manage and understand customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Coordinate with staff to provide exemplary service to customers.
• Maintain records of customer communications and contact information.
• Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
• Submit various sales status reports as required.
