Job summary

J Polep Distribution Services/NCD is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee outbound operations in our distribution center on Sundays through Thursdays. You will mentor dock staff, coordinate daily work, and enforce safety standards to maintain a productive, compliant warehouse environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train and develop team members in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Ability to read and clearly communicate in English; Spanish a plus.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day outbound operations for 2nd shift.
• Mentor, coach and cross-train dock staff; provide consistent feedback.
• Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance and training needs.
• Directly supervise dockworkers and support personnel loading trucks/trailers.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and procedures are adhered to.
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers and maintaining efficiency.
• Lift and/or move up to 60 pounds as required.
