Job summary

Power & Tel is seeking a sales support professional to quickly learn our CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, SXe, PowerBI) and assist Account Managers with quotes, orders, and customer inquiries. You will conduct outbound prospecting to generate quality leads, forecast activity, and relay product knowledge to customers to drive opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of sales or customer service experience, with a preference for wholesale distribution exposure.

Qualifications

1–2 years of sales or customer service experience.
Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Learn CRM/ERP functions (Salesforce, SXe, PowerBI) to locate customer/product info and enter quotes/orders.
Assist Account Managers with customer inquiries and provide quotes or information.
Conduct outbound prospecting to develop leads and opportunities for a specified region.
Forecast and track leads, activities, and meetings using Salesforce CRM.
Convey product knowledge and align with company messaging when engaging prospects.
Consult with prospects to identify business challenges and allocate opportunities to sales channels.
Assist Territory Account Manager in recapturing lost customers.
Maintain customer files and update quotes, plans, and issues in the system.
Enter quotes and orders while talking with customers on the phone.
Inform DSMs of pending quotations, bids, and sales opportunities.
Set GP% for bids and manage returns, communications, and backorders.
Coordinate with Purchasing on stock levels and pricing discrepancies.
Set up initial/follow-up calls for high-quality opportunities from campaigns and partners.
