Job summary

Ryerson Holding is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to build strong relationships with internal staff and external vendors across the U.S. The role ensures timely delivery of products and maintains accurate SAP order records, supporting the sales process from quote to shipment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in sales or related industry experience, an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), and experience managing large fabrication OEM accounts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of sales or industry experience.
• Experience managing large fabrication OEM accounts end to end.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Positive, goal-oriented attitude focused on delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Creating and modifying orders within SAP.
• Managing detailed records of material tracking and order status.
• Keeping internal employees informed about order tracking and lead times throughout the sales process.
• Using critical thinking to solve problems and efficiently deliver products to customers within allotted timeframes.
• Multi‑tasking and prioritizing in a rapidly changing environment.
• Executing additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
