Job summary

WBTV-TV/Gray Media is seeking a Sales Media Executive to connect local businesses with the station\'s advertising resources. This on-site role requires a minimum of 1 year of sales experience and a comfort with cold calling, presentations, and meeting tight revenue targets.

Knowledge of broadcast and digital advertising is preferred, and a successful outside sales track record will be considered. A valid driver\'s license is required, with strong teamwork and customer service values helping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year sales experience required; media/digital sales a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver\'s license and meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Generate new advertising revenue by cold calling prospects and developing new advertising accounts for the station and digital products.
• Exceed monthly revenue goals by selling digital advertising and growing revenue from current clients.
• Stay up to date on station product lines and programming features, including competing media platforms.
• Negotiate advertising rates and schedules, and prepare compelling proposals for clients.
• Provide account updates and forecast monthly revenue in the CRM database (Matrix) on a weekly basis.
• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain daily call tracking and appointment-setting in the CRM.
