Sales & Marketing Operations Coordinator
Location: New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan)

Pay Range: $28-35/hr.
Our client is seeking a Sales & Marketing Operations Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of commercial inventory, marketing inventory, virtual signage, and campaign reporting for a leading sports media organization.
Reporting to the AVP, Sales & Marketing Operations Lead, this role will help translate pitched-to-sold commercial and sponsorship elements into executable production requirements and track accurate fulfillment across local media broadcasts and platforms.
The Coordinator will work closely with teams across Sales, Account Management, Production, Media Partnerships, Ad Operations, Programming, Marketing & Creative Services, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to coordinate priorities, workflows, timelines, and deliverables.
This role will also support the coordination of virtual signage sales and fulfillment, including tracking inventory, creative requirements, approvals, timelines, and execution. Additionally, the Coordinator will support the integration and tracking of sold assets, features, and enhancements within event and studio productions.
The role will support campaign stewardship and reporting, including clearance and fulfillment reporting, campaign performance monitoring, reconciliation support, and sales and partner recaps. The Coordinator will help maintain workflows and reporting that provide visibility into inventory utilization, campaign delivery, execution status, and revenue.
Major Responsibilities
Sales Production & Inventory Operations
- Support Sales Production for Local Media, including commercial and marketing inventory, virtual signage, account management, production integration, and campaign fulfillment.
- Coordinate with employees and supplemental resources to help track priorities, responsibilities, deliverables, and resource needs.
- Coordinate and track commercial and marketing inventory workflows, ensuring sold elements are captured, communicated, scheduled, produced, and fulfilled.
- Coordinate with Media Partnerships, Sales, Ad Operations, Programming, and Production to help translate commercial commitments and sponsorship packages into production and execution requirements.
- Support virtual signage sales and fulfillment by partnering with the GPM virtual signage graphics team and tracking inventory, creative requirements, timelines, approvals, and execution.
- Coordinate marketing inventory and promotional workflows within Local Media broadcasts, tracking priorities across Marketing, Programming, Production, and commercial stakeholders.
- Coordinate with GPM Marketing & Creative Services and other creative resources to track commercial, sponsorship, and marketing assets against production requirements and timelines.
- Support campaign stewardship and fulfillment by tracking commercial and sponsorship commitments and delivery status.
- Prepare and maintain campaign recaps, clearance reports, and fulfillment reporting.
- Work with Ad Operations to track campaign delivery, identify discrepancies or underdelivery, and support resolution and makegoods.
- Coordinate with Legal, Ad Operations, and Media Partnerships regarding policies, creative clearances, approvals, and requirements.
- Assist Finance and Business Operations with billing, reconciliation, revenue reporting, and tracking sold-versus-delivered discrepancies.
- Maintain and update reporting for inventory utilization, campaign delivery, virtual signage fulfillment, and commercial execution.
- Review campaign and inventory reporting to flag delivery risks, fulfillment issues, and required follow-up.
Cross-Functional & Marketing Operations
- Serve as a key coordination point across Local Media and GPM Media Partnerships, Ad Operations, Media Operations & Technology, and Marketing & Creative Services.
- Maintain documentation and support workflows and quality control for sales production, inventory, virtual signage, and campaign reporting.
- Coordinate across Local Media and GPM to support marketing initiatives, tracking inventory, assets, timelines, approvals, and production resources.
- Support the rollout of new commercial products, sponsorship integrations, virtual signage, marketing initiatives, and inventory opportunities.
- Flag workflow, system, and reporting improvement opportunities and support implementation.
- Escalate sales production and fulfillment issues and coordinate solutions across commercial, production, technical, creative, and operational stakeholders.
Required Education & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in media sales operations, sales production, advertising operations, sponsorship operations, broadcast operations, account management, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating complex workflows in a deadline-driven media or production environment. Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting commercial inventory, campaign fulfillment, sponsorship execution, integration of features or enhancements, or sales production across linear, streaming, and/or digital platforms.
- Experience coordinating or supporting production and creative workflows across Sales, Ad Operations, Production, Marketing, and technical teams.
- Exposure to virtual signage, virtual advertising, broadcast graphics, DOOH, or sports media advertising is a plus.
- Exposure to campaign stewardship, reconciliation, billing, revenue reporting, and advertiser or partner recaps is preferred.
- Experience maintaining processes, reporting, documentation, and quality control.
- Experience in sports media, live events, local or regional media, or complex broadcast environments is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing commitments, inventory, reporting, and revenue-related information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, recaps, and status updates.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving media environment with multiple priorities and time-sensitive execution.
