  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of sales experience or training required; for candidates with 3+ years of elevator sales experience, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proven success in B2B field sales with experience selling services in a highly competitive market.
  • Ability to review and guide direct reports through contract proposals and business correspondence.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to improve profitability.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager- Service/Repair located in San Antonio, TX.

Responsible for driving revenue, profit margin, and overall sales growth by leading the branch's sales force across all three lines of business and creating a culture based on being the easiest to do business with. Ensures sales representatives exceed sales goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Safety First - Supports a culture of safety throughout the organization and stresses the importance of safety to all employees. Active participant in the branch safety committee.
  • Builds strong customer relationships with key customers. Maintains a strong understanding of the market area, including market penetration, volume for different lines of business, competitors' strategies, and market trends.
  • Manages and develops branch sales representatives, including setting sales goals, reviewing performance, and providing ongoing training and development. Administers quarterly performance reviews and supports sales staff in addressing questions and issues promptly.
  • Leads business growth initiatives and fosters relationships with key customers, consultants, and architects. Creates synergies across all lines of business, including leading the NIM process with the goal of 100% on-time conversion.
  • Supports a customer satisfaction culture that promotes retention. Collaborates with other departments to provide proactive customer assistance.
  • Implements and oversees strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate and regional strategies.
  • Develops a consistent and superior brand identity for all sales presentations, proposals, and bids. Identifies sales skill gaps and initiates training/coaching as needed.
  • Ensures all bids are approved according to established levels, including timely submission of higher-level approval forms for large bids.
  • Monitors sales activity using CRM and approves sales incentives to ensure cohesive sales efforts.
  • Reviews and sets sales goals consistent with budgetary and corporate guidelines, including quarterly performance reviews.
  • Analyzes P&L and other financial reports to monitor sales performance, ensuring monthly goals are met or exceeded and cancellations are controlled. Collaborates with the Branch Manager on sales budgets.
  • Develops bidding strategies to ensure profitability. Participates in factory tours and demonstrations to showcase technical competence and secure customer interest.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the market, including backlog, market penetration, outstanding bids, new business opportunities, and staffing needs.
  • Stays updated on company products through training and reviewing factory updates and supplier information.
  • Partners with the Branch Manager to align on goals and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
