Job description

Our client is a global court reporting company providing best-in-class court reporting, videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support services throughout the United States and abroad. They are run by smart, energetic entrepreneurs and are looking for a talented Sales Manager to be part of our growth into the future.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the sales team by overseeing the activities and performance of Account Executives and developing individual sales plans to ensure revenue growth.
2. Hold Account Executives accountable for account planning quality and completeness and identify opportunities for process optimization.
3. Conduct hiring, training, and performance management to ensure staff competency and the achievement of sales goals.
4. Direct team members to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth. Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and motivation to team members.
5. Ensure Account Executives are maintaining disciplined pipeline health, quality, and quantity, and collaborate on best practices and available programs to minimize pipeline variances.
6. Develop and hold teams accountable for understanding their clients’ needs and priorities.
7. Conduct annual employee performance reviews and weekly team and individual check-ins.
8. Track and meet sales goals by analyzing performance data and making forecasts.
9. Work closely with Account Executives to assess performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Court reporting industry experience required.
• Technology industry experience, especially Salesforce, strongly preferred.
• At least five years of sales management experience.
• Proven success managing and directing a sales team of at least ten members.

Fully remote position; candidates can live anywhere on the East Coast.

Base salary: $150K-$175K; OTE: $300K+
