Job description

Our client is a global court reporting company providing best-in-class court reporting, videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support services throughout the United States and abroad. They are run by smart, energetic entrepreneurs and are looking for a talented Sales Manager to be part of our growth into the future.

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, training, motivating, and developing the sales team to achieve high performance. The Manager will implement focused action plans, sales initiatives, and maintain ongoing communication regarding team performance. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales with a dotted line to the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the company.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the sales team by overseeing the activities and performance of Account Executives and developing individual sales plans to ensure revenue growth.
  2. Hold Account Executives accountable for account planning quality and completeness, and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  3. Conduct hiring, training, and performance management to ensure staff competency and achievement of sales goals.
  4. Guide team members to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth. Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and motivation.
  5. Ensure Account Executives maintain a healthy pipeline, with quality and quantity, and collaborate on best practices to minimize pipeline variances.
  6. Develop and hold teams accountable for understanding their clients’ needs and priorities.
  7. Conduct annual employee performance reviews and weekly check-ins with team members and Account Executives.
  8. Track and meet sales goals by analyzing performance data and making forecasts.
  9. Work closely with Account Executives to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in the court reporting industry is required.
  • Technology industry experience is strongly preferred, especially with Salesforce.
  • Minimum of five years of sales management experience.
  • Proven success managing and leading a sales team of at least ten members.

Fully remote position - candidates can live anywhere on the East Coast.

Base salary: $150K-$175K; OTE: $300K+
