Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for increasing sales of the HASKEL BUTECH portfolio through all assigned Channel Distributors and Direct Key accounts (OEM, EPCs, and System Integrators). The RSM will utilize advanced sales strategies, channel management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of selling techniques to target all focus market sectors and maximize sales. This role requires high technical aptitude, influence in brand preference, and the ability to articulate value propositions as part of solution selling, including knowledge of process equipment such as pressure boosting and flow calculations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing sales channels within the region, establish sales targets, review performance, submit monthly sales reports, develop regional strategies, and supervise corrective actions.
  • Set annual sales growth targets for Channel Distributors and direct accounts in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
  • Maintain an accurate Sales Funnel to support planning and forecasting.
  • Update Channel Distributor Scorecards regularly and report progress as required.
  • Establish SMART goals for each Channel Distributor, find replacements if necessary, and facilitate onboarding of new partners.
  • Participate in trade show planning, marketing programs, training, and sales presentations.
  • Stay informed on market trends affecting sales potential and possess thorough knowledge of the HASKEL BUTECH product portfolio.
  • Identify and share best practices among Channel Distributors.
  • Ensure full geographic and sector coverage by all Channel Distributors.
  • Address underperformance and implement improvement plans.
  • Make targeted field visits to promote sales with key accounts and prospects.
  • Evaluate new and existing market opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in selling fluid process or related equipment in Power, Industrial, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or similar markets.
Core Competencies:
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish strong customer and team relationships.
  • Honest, self-motivated, team-oriented, with mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend technical solutions.
  • Tech-savvy with proven sales and business acumen.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
Preferences:
  • Over 3 years of direct sales account management experience.
  • Experience in territory and channel management, preferably in industrial sales.
  • Proven strategic thinking and growth leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for at least 12 months, with a clean traffic violation record.
Travel & Work Requirements:
  • Travel approximately 50-60% across North America monthly.
  • Access to a major airport required.
Pay Range:

The total compensation range is $130,000 - $200,000, including incentives, based on skills, experience, certifications, and location. Eligible for bonuses and incentive pay.
