Job title: Sr Account Manager, Material and Structural Analysis

Reports to: Sr. Director, Account Management, Analytical Instruments

Location: USA West Coast, remote

You will work closely with semiconductor customers and internal business managers to address failure analysis and inline process control challenges using our electronic microscopy product portfolio. You will also generate opportunities and meet bookings objectives to support the semiconductor segment growth plan.

Division Specific Information

Materials and Structural Analysis Division designs, manufactures, and supports high-performance electron microscopy workflows for micro-, nano-, and picometer scales, combining hardware and software expertise with deep application knowledge in materials science, life sciences, electronics, and natural resources markets.

What will you do?

  1. Develop and expand relationships with semiconductor customers, including direct relationships with “C-suite” clients.
  2. Understand customer requirements and challenges; collaborate with regional sales and internal teams to translate these into opportunities, value, and orders.
  3. Implement go-to-market strategies to build a strong pipeline.
  4. Prepare reports on progress and forecasts using key account metrics.
  5. Deliver bookings and revenue commitments; lead cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
  6. Manage contractual processes and resolve commercial issues.
  7. Collaborate with regional sales teams and other divisions on cross-regional and cross-divisional opportunities.
  8. Ensure accurate CRM reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  9. Coordinate with Product Management, Commercial Management, and Marketing on initiatives and campaigns.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Degree in physics or engineering required
  • MBA preferred

Experience

  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience with high-value capital equipment in the semiconductor industry
  • Strong energy, integrity, and initiative
  • Experience working in a matrix environment
  • Solution and value selling experience
  • Ability to travel 50%+; fluent in English

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Business acumen in deal analysis, forecasting, and commitments
  • Ability to integrate product offerings into solutions providing high value to customers

Compensation and Benefits
