Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Sales Manager experience with full responsibility for variable operations.
• Proven history of building/training a sales team with solid CSI and profits.
• Experience in showroom and internet traffic generation, direct mail, and media.
• Background in leading a BDC department.
• Experience with used vehicle purchasing, merchandising, and marketing.
• Ability to mentor desk managers and improve F&I income.

Responsibilities

• Coach sales team on closing techniques via training and participation.
• Lead profitability of the teams and showroom activities.
• Maintain experienced product knowledge across teams.
• Analyze customer satisfaction metrics to drive improvements.
• Hire and monitor New and Used sales, Internet Sales, Finance, and Service Drive teams.
• Conduct daily/weekly sales trainings for Product Specialists.
• Mentor new and experienced reps on standard performance methods.
• Ensure CRM follow-up with all prospective buyers.
• Achieve dealership and OEM sales, gross, and expense targets monthly and annually.
