Job summary

WCF Insurance, a respected property and casualty carrier, seeks a Sales Manager to lead relationships with agencies, drive sales, and achieve production goals. The role is full-time and based in the Boise area, with up to 25% travel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance sales, strong presentation skills, and business development experience. Advanced designations are preferred, with a focus on collaboration and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• At least five years of property and casualty insurance sales and distribution experience.
• Advanced insurance designations preferred and strongly encouraged.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including motivational presentation and training style.
• Ability to effectively interact and collaborate at all levels within the organization.
• Foundational underwriting knowledge of commercial insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and maintain relationships with assigned agencies.
• Identify agency needs and resolve service issues.
• Plan, organize, and conduct agency meetings.
• Develop and negotiate annual production goals for agencies.
• Monitor performance of managed agencies and report results.
• Develop market intelligence by monitoring industry trends.
• Facilitate strategic business development and pipeline meetings.
• Identify additional sources of premium production and vet prospective agencies.
• Prepare business cases in support of agency appointments.
• Travel up to 25%.
