Job summary

Central Insurance is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Idaho to develop and manage a defined territory, cultivate agency relationships, and achieve premium and project objectives. The role requires experience in sales and commercial underwriting within a Property & Casualty environment and a track record with Independent Insurance Agents.

The successful candidate will use data-driven strategies and collaborate with underwriters and claims teams.

Qualifications

Experience in sales and commercial underwriting in a P&C company.
Knowledge of working with Independent Insurance Agents.
Commercial lines underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

Create strategic marketing plans for your territory to identify opportunities and challenges, and develop budgets and strategies for profitable lines of business.
Drive sales pipeline development to meet premium budget targets using data to influence agency behaviors.
Build and maintain effective relationships with Agents, Regional Underwriting, Claims, and Home Office teams.
Communicate premium, submission, and profit goals to agents and coordinate action plans.
Provide ongoing training to agency staff on new programs, products, services and systems.
Monitor general insurance market trends and how they affect the territory and agency partners.
