Job Overview

We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive sales and business development for ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) projects in the San Diego market.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ADU sales, residential construction, home remodeling, real estate, home improvement, or business development and be confident in generating leads, meeting homeowners, presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and closing high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and convert ADU sales leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, digital marketing, and business development.
• Develop and maintain a strong residential construction sales pipeline.
• Meet with homeowners to understand their ADU, addition, remodeling, and construction requirements.
• Present ADU design-build and construction solutions based on the client's needs and budget.
• Conduct property visits and client consultations when required.
• Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and project information.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and manage the complete sales cycle from lead to close.
• Negotiate project pricing and terms within company guidelines.
• Build relationships with homeowners, realtors, architects, contractors, designers, and referral partners.
• Coordinate with the design, estimating, permitting, and construction teams to ensure a smooth handoff after closing.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, proposals, follow-ups, and closed deals.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Compensation

• 1% commission on closed sales.
• Commission-based earning structure with high earning potential.
• Additional performance incentives may be offered based on sales targets and results.
• Example: A $300,000 project at 1% commission = $3,000 commission.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, Real Estate, Construction Sales, Home Improvement, Remodeling, or ADU Sales.
• Strong knowledge of the San Diego residential market is preferred.
• Experience selling ADUs, additions, remodeling, kitchens, bathrooms, or residential construction is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, follow-up, and closing skills.
• Ability to generate leads and develop referral relationships.
• Strong understanding of the residential construction sales process.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working independently.
• Professional appearance and strong customer‑facing skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
