Currently, they are seeking a Sales Manager for the Florida and Georgia markets to target new customers and leverage their expertise in concrete solutions. The role reports to the National Sales Manager based in Norco, California, and is remotely based in the Southeastern USA.

Job Scope

The Sales Manager for Florida & Georgia is a sales and customer service leader responsible for driving long-term sales growth and profitability in this expanding market. The sales process involves specifying products through Landscape Architects and securing orders from General Contractors. QCP values deep relationships with architects, contractors, suppliers, municipalities, and end-clients. The culture is family-oriented, with long-tenured employees. Success requires integration into this culture, proactive sales efforts, and the ability to identify and meet customer needs. The role involves expanding market presence in key regions, leveraging a strong reputation, and building relationships with Landscape Architects, Contractors, and Project Owners. Key performance metrics include meeting sales revenue and profit targets, expanding customer coverage, and regional growth. The Sales Manager will be pivotal in fostering growth, relationships, and QCP’s reputation as a trusted partner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Growing current sales in the area from approximately $1 million to $4-5 million annually.
  • Maintaining long-standing relationships with Landscape Architects in the territory.
  • Engaging with clients regularly, visiting 30 customers monthly, and conducting quarterly follow-ups.
  • Generating new projects and applying consistent sales approaches to prospects.
  • Identifying and pursuing new prospects actively, focusing on suitable projects.
  • Developing trust-based relationships with: (1) Landscape Architects through education and customization, (2) General Contractors by offering cost-effective solutions, and (3) End Customers/Owners by aligning products with strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with the sales team and sharing best practices.
  • Using Salesforce CRM rigorously for forecasting, follow-up, and activity tracking.
  • Working closely with Operations and other departments to ensure timely contact and appropriate customer expectations.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies

  • 5-10 years of sales experience in a similar channel, with a track record of achieving 10-15% annual sales growth toward a $4-5 million target.
  • Proficiency as a Salesforce CRM Superuser or equivalent, with a tech-savvy approach to improving sales processes.
  • Strong relationships with Landscape Architects and excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, strategic, and dynamic self-starter skilled at identifying growth opportunities and building long-term relationships.
  • Relationship-oriented, capable of building trust with diverse stakeholders and aligning their needs with company offerings.
  • Willing to travel 20-30% overnight, with regular visits to cover the territory and conduct at least 30 meetings per month.
  • Demonstrates integrity, keeps commitments, and treats others with respect.
  • Builds trust through ethical behavior and organizational values.
  • Works collaboratively and contributes to a positive team environment.

Reporting Relationships

The Sales Manager, Florida & Georgia, reports directly to the National Sales Manager and will be based remotely in the Southeast.
