Omnitronics is looking for an experienced Land Mobile Radio (LMR) sales professional to take ownership of its Western US territory and drive the next stage of growth across the region.
Omnitronics develops radio dispatch and critical communications software that integrates with radio networks and brings communications environments together. This is a specialist market, and we're looking for someone who already knows it.
You may have built your career with a major radio manufacturer, communications technology vendor, reseller or systems integrator. You understand LMR, radio systems, dispatch and consoles, know how the dealer channel works, and have a track record of turning relationships and opportunities into revenue.
If you also know the Western US dealer and reseller network, you could be exactly who we're looking for.
You'll lead Omnitronics' sales growth across the US West Region, covering Pacific and Mountain time zones.
This is primarily a new-business role – approximately 70% business development and 30% account management – operating through a strongly channel-led sales model. You'll develop new opportunities, grow existing relationships, recruit and enable channel partners, and engage directly with end users across Public Safety, Utilities and Transportation.
You'll own the territory rather than simply inherit and manage accounts.
That means prospecting, developing partner relationships, creating pipeline, working alongside resellers, engaging customers, navigating complex buying processes and ultimately closing business.
You'll have significant autonomy, backed by Omnitronics' Sales Engineering, Internal Sales and Marketing teams.
We're looking for someone who...
Knowledge of LMR, P25, radio systems, dispatch consoles, RoIP, SIP/IP communications and associated networking environments will be particularly valuable.
You might currently work for an LMR manufacturer, radio communications vendor, major reseller, systems integrator or dispatch technology company.
You need to understand the market well enough to speak credibly with dealers, partners and customers from the outset. Radio dispatch experience would be particularly attractive, as would an established Western US channel network.
You'll be based in the Western United States, ideally with convenient access to a major airport so you can cover the territory efficiently.
Potential locations include Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, Albuquerque, Boise, Las Vegas/Reno, Portland, Washington State and California, although the right Western US location and territory experience are more important than a particular city.
Regular territory travel is part of the role, including customer and partner meetings and industry trade shows. You'll also have the opportunity to travel to Omnitronics' Australian headquarters approximately once per year.
We're looking for someone driven, curious, positive and commercially hungry – you'll ask good questions and listen. You'll build trust with customers and channel partners. You'll have a can-do attitude while being honest about what can and can't be delivered.
You'll enjoy getting into the territory, meeting people, attending industry events and developing relationships.
Most importantly, you'll want to win – while building relationships that last.
