Job summary

The Dan Mensch GEICO Local Office is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow our team of licensed insurance professionals. You will mentor, coach, and drive performance while continuing to participate in sales.

This leadership role offers uncapped commission opportunities, a competitive base salary, and a collaborative environment focused on coaching, accountability, and agency growth.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Previous insurance sales experience with a strong record of success.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of licensed insurance sales professionals.
• Set expectations and help the team consistently reach sales goals.
• Monitor sales activity, performance, and results.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback.
• Lead by example through your own sales production.
• Work directly with customers to quote, recommend coverage, and close business.
• Help create a positive culture built around teamwork, accountability, and success.
• Track team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help recruit, onboard, and develop new sales talent.
• Ensure the team follows agency processes and customer service standards.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Previous insurance sales experience with a strong record of success
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals

Preferred:

• Life & Health Insurance License
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or sales management experience
