Addison Group in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the sales team in a dynamic industrial supply environment. This is an entry-level role with potential for internal promotion within 1–1.5 years.

You will coordinate order fulfillment, enter quotes, manage bid packages, and assist across multiple teams to ensure accurate, timely deliveries. A strong communicator with good Excel and organizational skills will thrive.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Entry-level role with potential promotion to inside sales, quality, or other divisions in 1–1.5 years.
• Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mills, manufacturers, distributors, and warehouse teams to track orders and resolve delays.
• Enter quotes and bid packages into the operating system and CRM with accuracy.
• Manipulate and improve Excel bid packages using pivot tables and sheet merging.
• Break up and shop large bid packages across multiple vendors; send and track RFQs.
• Set up freight logistics for critical orders including freight broker coordination.
• Create customized customer-specific document packages including MTRs, packing slips, and invoices.
• Data entry for new customer details, credits, and order information into ERP and Excel.
• Support inside and outside sales team with daily administrative and sales support tasks.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
