Job summary

Eastern Industrial Automation in Lancaster, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Expeditor Administrator to juggle multiple orders and keep customers informed. This 100% in-office position runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a wage of $24–$28 per hour based on experience.

Ideal candidates excel at tracking orders, expediting at-risk shipments, and maintaining clear records. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is preferred, with strong communication across purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through.
• Experience in order management or logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Track open sales orders daily and update suppliers on status and dates.
• Expedite orders at risk of delay by communicating updated timelines.
• Monitor lead times across suppliers, considering stock vs make-to-order.
• Reconcile order acknowledgments against POs to catch discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate order status, delivery dates, and communication history.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales to resolve issues quickly.
• Provide timely status updates to customers and account managers.
• Flag recurring delays and support process improvements.
• Handle compliance paperwork and surveys for accounts and transactions.
