Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Sales Manager in Eagan, MN to lead Twin Cities Ready Mix Concrete sales, develop market strategies, and manage a sales team across fixed and portable plants. The role focuses on profitability, safety, and customer relationships.

You will recruit, train, and coach the sales force, implement sound marketing plans, and collaborate with operations and leadership to meet regional goals and drive growth in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree or at least 10 years concrete experience.
• Additional Education Preferred: Masters degree.
• Field of Study Preferred: Civil Engineering, Business, Concrete Technology.
• Required Work Experience: 5 to 10 years, minimum of 5 years of commercial experience required (business development, marketing, sales, channel management, construction materials experience preferred (RMX concrete, aggregates, paving, civil contracting); experience in commission-based structure).
• Required Training/Certifications: Sandler sales training and certification preferred.
• Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft skills; working knowledge in SAP, Salesforce and Qlikview/Qliksense.

Responsibilities

• Work with Regional Head and General Managers to develop market-specific strategies.
• Translate strategies into account and call plans.
• Implement the strategies, account plans, and call plans.
• Nurture and build customer relationships while negotiating, closing sales, and communicating needs.
• Work with Business Operations Teams to manage the business and achieve targets.
• Manage price/volume to maximize margin and lead field personnel development.
• Drive more effective sales processes and practices.
• Champion change and question status quo for better results.
• Advocate with local/state regulatory agencies and industry bodies.
• Look for opportunities to cross-sell Amrize products or services.
• Track account and call plan implementation and forecast demand.
