Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of construction materials in the United States, seeks a Production Supervisor to manage Ready Mix concrete plant operations across Maryland. You will oversee safety, batching accuracy, and on-time delivery while leading a hands-on team and coordinating maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in ready-mix or concrete production, strong leadership, and a proven ability to optimize schedules, reduce downtime, and ensure OSHA and company standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent.
• Required Work Experience: 3–5+ years in ready-mix, concrete production, or similar manufacturing.
• Travel Requirements: 25–50%.
• Proven experience overseeing Ready Mix operations and plant production activities.
• Ability to lead plant employees, coordinate daily activities, and promote safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Ready Mix plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and meeting delivery schedules.
• Supervise concrete production processes, ensuring batching accuracy and quality compliance.
• Monitor production schedules and dispatch to maximize plant efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections for plant equipment to maintain reliability.
• Maintain production records, inventory levels, and safety documentation.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, maintenance teams, and management to address needs.
