Closet Factory Bay Area is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our team of In‑Home Sales Designers, coaching from consultation through installation and closing. You will cultivate a performance-driven culture, set clear expectations, and use data to drive continuous improvement in a San Carlos, CA setting.

You will coach, mentor, and develop designers, align sales processes with company goals, and partner with leadership to grow the business while delivering an exceptional client

• Proven experience leading and developing a sales team.
• Track record of improving individual and team sales performance.
• Strong coaching, training, and motivational skills.
• Ability to hold people accountable while building a positive, performance-driven culture.
• Strong understanding of consultative selling, follow-up, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
• Comfort using sales data and KPIs to identify opportunities and make decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Hands-on management style and willingness to stay close to the sales process.
• Ability to recognize talent, develop high performers, and address underperformance.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop In‑Home Sales Designers.
• Establish clear performance expectations and create consistent accountability.
• Coach designers on consultations, presentations, follow-up, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
• Monitor individual and team performance, including sales, closing ratios, pipeline activity, and other KPIs.
• Identify performance gaps and turn them into coaching and development plans.
• Lead engaging sales meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
• Help new designers develop the skills, confidence, and habits needed to become successful.
• Strengthen execution and consistency throughout the sales process.
• Improve lead conversion and maximize revenue from available opportunities.
• Help designers develop referrals and self-generated business.
• Recognize and develop top performers while addressing underperformance.
• Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities and implement strategies that drive sustainable growth.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver an exceptional client experience from consultation through installation.
