Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store, driving the customer journey and achieving daily sales goals.

You will be trained in optics, products/services, and managed vision care to ensure eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way. You will engage with patients and customers, recommend appropriate products, and participate in training to maintain up-to-date eyewear knowledge and sales skills for Right the First

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or health care setting.
• Ability to meet daily sales goals and provide excellent patient service.
• Strong communication and product knowledge in eyewear.

• Deliver daily sales goals through best practice customer journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products that meet eye care needs.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
