Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store. You will guide customers through the Visionworks journey, ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a friendly, human, and bold way.

The role requires optical knowledge, customer service skills, and a drive to exceed daily sales goals while maintaining product knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer/patient service experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer experience.
• Engage with patients and recommend eyewear products and services.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain knowledge through training.
• Support store operations including restocking and order fulfillment.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.01 - 15.93 per hr

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey


• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs


• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time


• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience


• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary


• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
