Job summary

Visionworks seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding patients through the Visionworks journey with expert optical knowledge and a friendly, bold approach.

You will drive daily sales, engage customers, and recommend eyewear solutions while maintaining product knowledge. You’ll also support restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent education

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals through strong customer experience
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend eyewear products and services
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain optical knowledge through ongoing training
• Restock inventory, merchandise, and fulfill eyewear orders to ship

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $11.41 - 15.13 per hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/services and managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
