Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our brand in-store, guiding patients through a simple, human, and bold eyewear journey.

You will drive sales, engage customers, and ensure accurate eyewear fitting while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer or patient service experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals through the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products to meet eye care needs.
• Measures patients for eyewear and maintains optical knowledge through training.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.65 - 19.76 per hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
