Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, customer-first store and support the Store Manager. The role includes helping customers locate merchandise, handling cash, stocking, merchandising, and opening/closing duties.

The position blends front-line duties with leadership responsibilities in the absence of management. Typical duties involve supervising team members, ensuring planogram compliance, and maintaining safety and accuracy in transactions.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash transactions.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and safety practices.
• Ability to drive to the bank to make deposits.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Receive, open, unpack, stock, and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Clean the store; manage trash, floors, restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
