Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus and to lead in the absence of store management. The role includes assisting buyers, operating the register, stocking merchandise, and creating effective displays while ensuring store profitability and asset protection.

The position emphasizes supervising staff, ensuring safety practices, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves, and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and stockroom, and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
