Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help maintain planograms and displays. You may act as a lead in the Store Manager’s absence.

The role involves duties commonly performed by Sales Associates with supervisory responsibilities. Emphasis on safety, accuracy in cash handling, and a proactive approach to store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to lead in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise and build displays; rotate products and follow planograms.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with side displays and housekeeping.
• Perform duties of Store Manager in their absence when required.
