Belk in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Selling Lead to drive store sales and key metrics through exceptional customer service and team leadership. You will support events, clienteling, and omnichannel experiences while maintaining presentation standards and merchandise. This is an hourly role with monthly bonus eligibility.

The successful candidate will motivate the team, engage customers, and uphold Belk's service standards across the store, ensuring a memorable shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must regularly move around store areas and be accessible to customers.
• Must bend, reach, stretch and lift at least 40 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences through team, customer and community relationships; support clientelling and events.
• Greet, engage and assist customers warmly; provide personalized service to enhance shopping experience.
• Process transactions accurately; handle inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Improve selling behaviors and metrics by communicating daily goals, onboarding and coaching newer associates.
• Assist teammates in using selling tools and digital devices to provide seamless omnichannel experiences and knowledge of inventory and product features.
• Maintain current policy knowledge; keep team informed about products, promotions, contests and store events.
• Champion associate engagement and celebrate successes; foster a positive store culture where team members feel valued.
• Keep selling areas visually appealing and aligned with visual standards; support stock replenishment and store recovery efforts.
• Lead store fulfillment and asset protection processes with safety and security protocols.
