Job summary

TRG Lakeland (MaxPak) in Florida is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales organization, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable growth across operations. You will shape sales strategy, develop talent, and expand market presence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in sales, at least 5 years in a supervisory role, and experience in corrugated packaging. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the corrugated packaging industry
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales organization, including sales, design, customer service, scheduling, and shipping-related functions.
• Monitor sales volume, product mix, and overall sales performance.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
• Establish performance expectations and conduct employee evaluations.
• Resolve customer concerns while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
• Analyze market trends and recommend changes to products, staffing, inventory, or equipment as needed.
• Prepare annual sales forecasts and performance reports.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
