Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of retail experience, or 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience training and mentoring associates.
• Experience cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain required sales licensure or registrations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and monitor daily performance.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and customer-facing activities.
• Handle down stocking, inventory management, and area recovery.
• Ensure store safety through safety walks and hazard reporting.
• Communicate best practices to drive sales and customer-focused behavior.
• May open/close store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings or trainings as needed.
