Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and ensure department coverage.
• Manage customer-facing activities and store safety, including safety walks.
• Communicate best practices to inspire customer-focused behavior and meet sales goals.
• May open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores if needed.
