Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver great customer service, and ensure a safe, well-stocked store. You will coach staff, manage tasks, and support merchandising decisions while maintaining strong department coverage.

The role emphasizes customer-facing interactions, training, and adherence to safety practices, with occasional MOD responsibilities and potential travel to neighboring stores for meetings or training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in retail OR 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing/supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, follow up on daily tasks.
• Manage performance and ensure department coverage.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities and store safety.
• Report concerns, issues and morale to management.
