Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team and deliver outstanding customer experiences in-store. You will coach associates, delegate tasks, and ensure department coverage, while handling both customer-facing and back-end activities like inventory and safety checks.

The role requires retail leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with store systems. This is an hourly full-time in-store position with a typical 39–40 hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Providing resources and tools to support those directly helping customers provide the best service.
• Assisting with down stocking and area recovery as well as merchandising input.
• Monitoring use of store power equipment and coaching on safe behaviors and lifting techniques.
• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience in the store.
• Coaching, training, delegating, and managing performance.
• Customer-facing activities, down stocking, inventory management, and safety walks.
