Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates and deliver outstanding customer experiences in the store. You will coach staff, delegate tasks, monitor performance, ensure coverage, and drive customer-facing and store-safety duties.

You may also open/close the store or act as manager‑on‑duty. Some travel to meetings or trainings may be required occasionally. A strong retail background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross‑functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, clarifying needs and identifying solutions, closing sales.
• Coaching and training associates, delegating, following‑up on daily tasks and ensuring department coverage.
• Managing performance and store safety, including safety walks and reporting hazards.
• Down stocking, inventory management and area recovery.
• Occasionally opening/closing the store or serving as manager‑on‑duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings/trainings or to support neighboring stores occasionally.
