Sales Executive - Remote in TX or OK
Job Description
The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This position leads the pharmacy sales process including the RFP process, contract negotiations, site visits, and follow-up meetings.
The clients for this position are in Texas and Oklahoma, with a preference for someone residing in either state.
Responsibilities
- Work with the AVPs, Employer Account Directors, and sales team to drive joint ASO sales and member growth, including regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and assisting in retaining current business by developing strategies for priority accounts.
- Lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline development, conduct post-bid discussions, and maintain Salesforce reporting.
- Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with sales and account management teams, and ensure accurate pipeline and sales reporting in CRM.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the company, products, services, market, competition, and opportunities; communicate Prime's key messages effectively.
- Educate client teams on industry topics, new products, and the competitive landscape; provide collateral and sales support.
- Coordinate with the VP of Employer Group Sales on messaging, prospect development, collateral, and execution of go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct quarterly/bi-annual market meetings, review results, recommend product/service changes, and collaborate with leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent; HS diploma or GED required.
- 10 years of operational experience in PBM organizations.
- 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of managed care organizations.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities, develop sales messages, and proposals.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- MBA preferred.
- 4 years of implementation leadership in PBM organizations.
- Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.

- MBA.

Physical Demands
- Travel up to 40%.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 based on experience.
