Job Description

The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This position leads the pharmacy sales process including the RFP process, contract negotiations, site visits and follow-up meetings.

The clients for this position are in Florida and Alabama, with a preference for candidates residing in either state.

Responsibilities

Work with the Assistant Vice Presidents, Employer Account Directors, and the sales team to drive joint ASO sales and member growth for Prime and the assigned Plan(s), including regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and assisting in retaining current business while developing strategies for priority accounts.

Lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline and post-bid discussions, and maintain reporting in Salesforce.

Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet quarterly sales requirements.

Build and maintain relationships with sales and account management teams, ensuring accurate pipeline status and sales reporting in CRM.

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of company products, services, market, competition, and opportunities; relay key messages to client sales, marketing, and account management teams.

Educate teams on industry topics, new products, and the competitive landscape; provide collateral materials and sales support.

Coordinate with the VP Employer Group Sales on messaging, prospect development, collateral, and execution of go-to-market strategies.

Conduct quarterly/bi-annual meetings with plans, review results, recommend product/service changes, and collaborate with leadership.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 10 years of operational knowledge of PBM organizations.
  • 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of managed care organizations.
  • Exceptional ability to evaluate opportunities and develop effective messages, presentations, proposals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of implementation leadership within a PBM organization.
  • Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Travel up to 40%.
  • Constant: sit, handle, talk, hear.
  • Frequent: reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasional: stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • Lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to a Director in Sales.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 based on experience and skills.
