We help people get the medicine they need to feel better and live well. The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. Responsibilities include leading the pharmacy sales process, RFPs, contract negotiations, and client meetings. Preference for candidates in FL or AL.
Responsibilities
- Drive joint ASO sales and member growth, including regaining and winning new business.
- Lead prospecting activities, pipeline development, and post-bid discussions.
- Forecast sales and meet sales requirements.
- Maintain relationships with sales and account teams, manage pipeline and sales reporting.
- Relay company messages, educate clients on industry topics, and support sales efforts with collateral materials.
- Coordinate with leadership on messaging, prospect development, and market strategies.
- Conduct Go-to-Market meetings and implement strategic plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
- 10 years of operational knowledge in PBM organizations.
- 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
- Legal eligibility to work in the US.
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of managed care organizations.
- Strong opportunity evaluation, messaging, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of implementation leadership in PBM.
- Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.
Physical Job Requirements
- Travel up to 40%.
- Sitting, handling, talking, hearing, reaching, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 25 lbs., and specific vision abilities.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to a Director in Sales.
