Metric in New York is seeking a Sales Specialist to grow our credit and debt research business. You will win new business for a specialist platform, build relationships with credit investors and analysts, and demonstrate how our research workflow supports client decisions.

You will manage the full sales cycle from outreach to close and collaborate with research and commercial teams to develop opportunities, backed by an uncapped commission structure that rewards performance.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years selling credit research, debt intelligence or related financial information.
• Proven track record of generating new business with institutional clients.
• Familiarity with credit markets, emerging market debt or distressed debt is valuable.
• Experience at firms like Debtwire, 9fin, CreditSights or similar providers is relevant.

A global financial intelligence business is hiring a Sales Specialist to grow its credit and debt research business in New York.

The role will suit someone who understands how financial institutions use credit news, research and market intelligence, and enjoys developing new client relationships.

The role:

• Win new business for a specialist credit and debt intelligence platform.
• Build relationships with credit investors, analysts and other relevant financial market participants.
• Understand clients’ research workflows and demonstrate how the platform supports their decisions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to negotiation and close.
• Work closely with research and commercial colleagues to develop opportunities.

Your background:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience selling credit research, debt intelligence or related financial information.
• A track record of generating new business with institutional clients.
• Familiarity with credit markets, emerging market debt or distressed debt would be valuable.
• Experience at businesses such as Debtwire, 9fin, CreditSights or a comparable provider would be particularly relevant.
