Job summary

Metric in New York is seeking a Sales Specialist to grow our credit and debt research business. You will win new business for a specialist platform, build relationships with credit investors and analysts, and demonstrate how our research workflow supports client decisions.

You will manage the full sales cycle from outreach to close and collaborate with research and commercial teams to develop opportunities, backed by an uncapped commission structure that rewards performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years selling credit research, debt intelligence or related financial information.
• Proven track record of generating new business with institutional clients.
• Familiarity with credit markets, emerging market debt or distressed debt is valuable.
• Experience at firms like Debtwire, 9fin, CreditSights or similar providers is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Win new business for a specialist credit and debt intelligence platform.
• Build relationships with credit investors, analysts and other market participants.
• Understand clients’ research workflows and show how the platform informs decisions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach through negotiation and close.
