Job summary

TopBuild Corp. seeks a Sales Consultant to sell insulation and building material products to residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, make daily sales calls, present proposals, and build trusted relationships while meeting monthly targets.

The role requires 3+ years in construction sales, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). It is a safety-sensitive position with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
