Job summary

Precision Walls, Inc. is seeking a Division 10/12 Sales/Estimator to develop complete cost estimates for specialty construction materials and furnishings, based on drawings and specifications.

You will work with engineers and architects to analyze blueprints and ensure alignment with pricing strategies. The role emphasizes understanding Division 10 and 12 materials, communicating clearly with vendors, and supporting the sales process to win new business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the trade.
• Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus.
• Detail oriented with an accounting mindset—Know your costs.
• Excellent organizational skills—sequences and order.
• Computer and technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately estimating project costs and analyzing materials, equipment, and labor requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates for bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and other stakeholders to create customized solutions for clients.
• Ensure proposals are submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with client specifications and deadlines.
• Clearly articulate the scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and value propositions in proposals to win new business.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to obtain product information, lead times, availability, and technical specifications.
• Participate in customer entertainment activities.
• Follow up with clients after proposal submissions to gather feedback and refine future estimates.
• Other duties as assigned.
