Job summary

Motorola Solutions, via its Silvus Technologies acquisition, seeks a Sales Engineer - Public Safety to deliver tailored mesh radio solutions to government and public safety customers. You will work with Sales, Marketing and BD to enable demonstrations, define technical requirements, and accelerate deals.

Remote work eligibility exists from the Washington DC metro area. The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in RF, networking, and C/C++ with security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and relevant pre/post-sales experience.
• Strong RF test instruments experience and readiness to travel for customer sites.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance; based in Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Demonstrate Silvus/MIMO radio solutions to customers and assess needs.
• Travel to customer sites for demonstrations and field support.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to tailor solutions.
