Job summary

Optimum, part of Altice USA, seeks a Sales Engineer to provide both onsite and in-house pre-sale support and post-implementation of complex voice, data, and video solutions. You will work with the Commercial Sales team to win new business and retain customers, translating technical concepts for customers and internal teams.

You will interact with Sales, Network Engineering, Provisioning, and NOC to design solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Telecom/Technical Sales experience with IP network infra, enterprise/wireless networks.
• Working knowledge of IP network infrastructure, managed IP access networks, IP video, VoIP and fiber networks.
• Strong knowledge of network tech stacks, OSI, security, and IoT applications.
• Proficient with Visio diagrams and basic design tooling; able to translate requirements into solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to customers and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sale technical expertise to Sales Force.
• Consult with Account Executives on technical questions and network design.
• Present benefits of Managed WiFi, Fiber, HFC services to prospects.
• Use consultative selling to drive revenue and satisfaction.
• Work with various internal teams to gather data for RPF/RFI responses.
• Interface with customers to determine technical requirements for Optimum services.
