Job summary

LINAK U.S. is seeking a technically minded Sales Engineer to support the TECHLINE business by translating customer needs into complete actuator, control, and software solutions.

You will work closely with engineers and the sales team to develop quotations and drive growth across agricultural, lawn & turf, and industrial automation markets. The role emphasizes collaboration with Application Engineering, strong communication, and project management skills, with travel up to 14 weeks annually

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, applications engineering, automation, or related industries.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude with ability to understand mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automation technologies.
• Experience or interest in agricultural equipment, lawn and turf machinery, mobile equipment, industrial automation, or related applications is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 14 weeks annually, including domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for customers and the LINAK sales team.
• Understand customer requirements and specify complete actuator, control, and software solutions.
• Provide technical support involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related systems.
• Develop quotations and manage pricing activities.
• Collaborate with Application Engineering to address customer concerns, application requirements, and product specifications.
• Support business development efforts through lead qualification, market research, customer outreach, and trade show participation.
• Manage projects from concept through implementation.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within agricultural, lawn & turf, industrial automation, and mobile equipment markets.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth within the TECHLINE business unit.

What We're Looking For
