Axis Communications seeks a Sales Engineer for the Midwest region to collaborate with the sales team and partners on pre-sales solutions, design, and technical issue resolution. You will deliver field services, site surveys, and integration guidance across Axis hardware and software.

The role emphasizes customer-focused design and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have strong networking knowledge, camera placement and video transport expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree or post-secondary diploma in IT, networking, CS, or security and information risk management.
• 3+ years’ industry experience in customer facing roles related to systems design, engineering, project management, integration, and/or development.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales team and partners on pre-sales solutions and technical issues.
• Provide field and design services across Axis products portfolio.
• Design site surveys, network layouts, and component recommendations.
• Assist with virtual sales calls and partner trainings.
• Educate customers on best practices for Axis platforms and integrations.
• Analyze technical support trends and escalate as needed.
